Vehicle Technology
Engine, drivetrain, brakes, tyres, lighting and technical systems of the truck. Daily checks and basic mechanical knowledge.
Cargo
Cargo securing, weight distribution, loading techniques, maximum axle loads and safe loading/unloading. Use of lashing straps and aids.
Legislation & Administration
Transport legislation, licence categories, required documents, insurance and liability.
Dimensions & Weights
Maximum vehicle dimensions, total weight, axle loads and regulations for exceptional transport. Weighing obligation and fines for overloading.

Bring identification
Bring a valid ID (passport, ID card or driving licence). Without identification you cannot participate.
CBR location
The exam takes place at a CBR location near you. Arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time.
Digital exam
You take the exam on a computer. You can mark questions and return to difficult ones later.
Immediate results
You receive your results immediately after the exam. If you pass, the result is valid for 2 years.

Yes. Module 1 (RVM1-C) is the basic theory exam for licence C and CE. Even if you do not need Code 95, you must pass this module.
Do I need to pass Module 1 before Module 2 or 3?
In practice, you start with Module 1. For Code 95, you also need Module 2 (VM2-C) and Module 3 (VM3-C).
What does the RVM1-C exam mainly cover?
Module 1 covers traffic, traffic insight, vehicle technology, cargo, dimensions, weights and the basic legislation around trucks.
How long is the result valid?
A passed theory certificate is valid for 2 years. Within that period, you must complete the next steps for your licence or Code 95.
